Greenlodge is Dedham's upscale residential pocket — the neighborhood where the lots get bigger, the homes get nicer, and the Needham border is close enough to borrow some of that town's prestige. The streets are quieter here, with Colonials and newer construction homes sitting on half-acre lots with mature landscaping. Greenlodge Park provides green space and playing fields for families, and the neighborhood feeds into some of Dedham's best-rated elementary schools. This is where Dedham starts to feel like it's competing directly with Needham — similar housing stock, similar neighborhood feel, but at a meaningful discount.
